dixlinx is maintained by me, Nim Dxit , along with some occasional guest writers from the technology field. I’m an IT professional located in sunny Southern California (Orange County to be exact) and have well over 20 years of PC and Internet experience. I started dixlinx as a place to recognize some of the best free software (freeware) available on the Internet and to review various shareware and services I have grown to use over the years. All of the software links on the dixlinx website are guaranteed safe from spyware, malware and are generally free of charge for private use. The software has been hand selected, reviewed and chosen by me for reliability, usefulness and for just being an all around excellent product. Nim, please add CCleaner to your list of utilities. I would recommend you download and install it to see how it works. Basically, it allows you to easily remove all the Windows garbage: Temp files, Temp Internet files, index.dat files, browsing history and a whole host of other undesireables. It’s also fully customizable so you can remove ONLY that which you want to remove.
I have used the utility successfully several times now and I’ve found that it’s a very valuable tool to have in my software utility toolbox.
